I was a Hotel/Restaurant major in college and always thought I would be a chef.  I loved the fast pace and customer interactions of the restaurant business and eventually moved into the business/sales side, working in Food Service Sales/Marketing for East Ohio Gas.  As the industry changed and deregulated, I had an opportunity to make a move to health care, where I honed my strategic marketing and business development skills.  In 2013, I returned to the energy business overseeing communications, marketing, and market research and developing a strongly integrated department that enabled us to raise awareness and engagement successfully.  If you couldn’t tell, I love learning, and each new experience has really prepared me to help TRG as we continually hone our skills and develop for future growth. 

Fun Fact

If I weren’t me, I would be Martha Stewart!  I love making people happy through cooking and entertaining.   My hobbies include photography, bookbinding, upholstery, painting & refinishing furniture, cooking, and baking!   I have even written and published my own family cookbook.

Favorite Cleveland Hangout

My patio – I love unwinding after a busy week.  But if I have to make a choice…/it’s a trip to Target (to visit my daughter), Square 22 in Strongsville or Townhall to visit my favorite bar back (my son).

I have two favorite projects that I worked on when I was a client of TRG.

Project Name: Mr. Nopec (TV | Online)
Agency: Knox Marketing

 

Governmental opt-out natural gas and electric aggregation are tough topics for the average consumer to understand.  We were looking for a way to make it a fun way to educate the consumer about Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) and the advantages of opt-out aggregation.  

 

In the first commercial, Mr. NOPEC popped up in typical day to day events where consumers were using energy – and not even thinking about it.  He pops out of a laundry basket, out of the shower and even out of the fireplace!  The second of course is the Mr. NOPEC music video.  Mr. NOPEC sang and danced his way from the shower to the backyard, telling the consumer about the different ways they could save money on their energy bills.

 

Project Name: Mercy Health Oncology (TV | Online)
Agency: Knox Marketing

 

When a patient is diagnosed with cancer, they and their family are unprepared and scared.  The Mercy Health Oncology TV spots highlighted the relationship between a patient and her radiation oncologist.  It’s a story about her journey to get her back to doing what she loved, while also showing the compassionate and caring physician.
