“On numerous location shoots, [TRG Reality] captured key images that let us present the true personality of our multi-family communities.”

Joe Szabo
Marketing Manager, Forest City Residential

The Client:

Forest City, founded in 1920, is a leading real estate company with properties scattered all over the U.S. The company is focused on building distinctive and diverse communities for living, working and shopping. Forest City’s project portfolio includes the highly acclaimed New York Times building in Manhattan, New York and the world renowned Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

The Results:

Remarkable storytelling images (panoramic exteriors, staged interiors, architectural details, and lifestyle street shots) that capture the essence and character of each individual property for use in various marketing materials.

The Challenges:

Flying to various unique locations all over the country to photograph architecture and real estate requires research, communication and a flawless pre-production process. Some shoots demanded on-site scouts to provide the TRG Reality team with quick and early snapshots of locations to prepare them for what was in store before their arrival. The days were long, often surpassing 12 hours, and the outdoor nature of the business left the photographers at the mercy of the weather.

How TRG Reality Helped:

The TRG Reality team trusted the experience and knowledge of their clients at Forest City, relied on their expertise to anticipate what might arise unexpectedly during the course of each shoot, and arrived ready for anything. The photographers, assistants, production and staff approached each individual project in a new location prepared for inclement weather and willing to adapt to whatever situation awaited them. This positive attitude maximized the quality and quantity of the resulting photography and ensured the client was able to remain on schedule and on budget.

The TRG Reality team’s passion and dedication was apparent not only in the final images produced for the client, but on set as well. The long days ran smoothly, efficiently and, most importantly, everybody had a blast.

Joe, what would you say to others considering TRG Reality?

“Working with the TRG Reality team has been an extremely rewarding experience. On each occasion, TRG professionals have demonstrated their technical know-how and creative vision to bring our images to life. From pre-shoot to the final retouch, they have never failed to deliver. Even better, they are a very personable bunch, which is the key to success on those 14-hour shoots.”
